Our History

United Country Real Estate has been specializing in the properties located in and around the small cities and towns across America since 1925. For over 80 years, United agents have developed an expertise in marketing small city and town homes, second homes, vacation properties, ranches, farms, recreational land, commercial and all other properties located in the country.

United Country Real Estate is the nation’s largest and only organization of real estate professionals and auctioneers with more than 4,000 agents and approximately 700 offices in the small towns and cities of rural America.

United’s founder, Roscoe Chamberlain, wanted to provide people living in urban and suburban areas a “roadmap to the country”. Today United Country continues his passion for connecting people to the dream properties found in rural America.

In 1928 the company produced the first ever national real estate catalog, which is housed in the Smithsonian Institution as a real estate marketing innovation.
