Since the first Sky Zone opened in 2004, the brand has received widespread media coverage and rapidly growing popularity. The company is now looking to expand into select new markets with its franchise program. Franchises are offered through SkyZone Franchise Group, LLC. Franchises are not available in some U.S. state. Franchisees and their key managers receive classroom and on-the-job training at a designated corporate location, for about two weeks, and for about one week at the new franchise facility.

Sky Zone Recreational Center was founded in 2004 by Rick Platt, who got the idea for a franchise system of indoor trampoline parks after attempting a Sky Zone sport, with professional athletes in Las Vegas. Rick’s son Jeff opened a second site in St. Louis in 2006, and locations have been opening ever since.
