Since the first Sky Zone opened in 2004, the brand has received widespread media coverage and rapidly growing popularity. Sky Zone Recreational Center was founded in 2004 by Rick Platt, who got the idea for a franchise system of indoor trampoline parks after attempting a Sky Zone sport, with professional athletes in Las Vegas.
