Our Services

Doggy Daycare

Astro Kennels is proud to offer doggy day care for your four-legged friends. When your dog spends the day with us, they will enjoy a fun-filled day of playing outside in our beautiful state-of-the-art day care facility.

 

Boarding

We believe that boarding should be fun for your dog! Your pup will love our spacious indoor-only kennels. For the dog that loves the great outdoors, you can spoil them with one of our indoor/outdoor kennels (Five Forks location only).

 

Training

Our team of experienced trainers have training backgrounds in law enforcement, search and rescue, personal protection K9s, and of course, companion dog training. If you and your dog are having a problem, we have the training expertise to fix it. 

 

Grooming

We offer in-kennel baths, walk-in baths, nail trims, ear cleanings, FURminator treatments, and packages.

Astro Specialty Services

Wilderness Adventure

Astro's Wilderness Adventure allows dogs to experience nature as nature intended, and that means minimal human interaction. Our Wilderness Adventure utilizes long leashes that let dog's explore and experience the environment around them safely.

 

Astro Air Dogs (Dock Diving)

If you're looking for a fun new sport, or just a way to increase the bond you share with your dog, dock diving is a great option! Our Five Forks location also features an indoor heated swimming pool that is available for usage year round. 

 

Canine Good Citizen Testing

Astro Kennels is proud to be a certified AKC evaluator for the Canine Good Citizen test. We currently offer evaluations for the following tests: Canine Good Citizen , Urban Canine Good Citizen , Community Canine (advanced CGC), as well as the AKC Trick Dog titles.

 

K9 Kadets

This canine-themed camp is designed for children ages 6-12 and allows them to bring their own dog to camp. K9 Kadets will learn all about responsible pet ownership, dog behavior and health, canine safety, and how to train their own dog. 

 

 

THE VISIONARIES BEHIND THE ASTRO KENNELS BRAND:

Dave and Cheri Milan opened Astro Kennels in 2008 to provide a state-of-the-art boarding and training facility for the Five Forks and surrounding areas; a fun “home away from home” for clients’ pets. After nine years of growth, they expanded the Astro Kennels brand and opened Astro Kennels 2, located in the Mauldin area of Greenville. They have bred English Springer Spaniels and German Shepherds for companionship and working K9s for 20 years. Both Dave and Cheri have been active members of SC Foothills K9 Search & Rescue since its inception in 2006.
